everyone’s grandparents seem to have really cute stories of how they met, and like my grandparents met when my grandma was running away from police during a protest and she jumped on the back of my grandads motorcycle and just screamed “DRIVE FUCKING DRIVE”

I dunno man I think that story’s pretty fuckin cute.

Do you ever get like super vulnerable late at night that you just want to spill your heart out and say how you feel because you’ve been holding it in for so long and you just need some ventilation and there’s just something about two in the morning that makes me lose my filter and say the things I would never have the guts to say when the sun is up.

the nights were mainly made for saying things that you can’t say tomorrow day

“You like D&D, Audrey Hepburn, Fangoria, Harry Houdini and croquet. You can’t swim, you can’t dance, and you don’t know karate. Face it, your never gonna make it.”

I MET GERARD WAY YOU GUYS. I REPEAT
I, A SIMPLE TUMBLR USER,
MET MY HERO GERARD WAY.
He was literally the sweetest guy ever. I waited in line for 6 hours before I finally got in and as soon as he saw me he smiled and held out his hand and said, “Hi, how are you?” So I shook his hand in disbelief and replied, “I am doing fantastic, how are you?” AND HIS FACE FUCKING LIT UP AND HE WAS LIKE, “I’M GREAT!”
So I gave him my comics to sign and he was very careful in checking the spelling of my name so that he could get it perfect (he did this for everyone) and after I asked him if we could take a picture and he said, “Of course!”
And then after I thanked him but he was like, “Thank YOU” and I started tearing up. I asked if I could hug him and he just smiled and stood up and hugged me and I thanked him again. Then I walked away shaking and as soon as I got out of the store I started crying because he was so nice to everyone.
I’ve never met a celebrity/band member who was THAT nice to everyone. And you could tell that he genuinely cared about everyone who was there to see him. Honestly it was one of the best moments of my life.
I cannot put into words how much that 2 minute interaction meant to me. All I can say is thank you Gerard Way.

like 98% of my problems would be solved if i stopped overthinking things and calmed the fuck down and stopped being such a panicky, anxious little shit
